Home

We are in!

I have worked my tail off for the past week!! I am so very proud to say that I have unpacked every single box after being in the house for a total of nine days.  That is a heck of an accomplishment if I do say so myself!  However, just because I've unpacked all my boxes doesn't mean I don't have work to do.  I still have piles and piles of things to put away, organize, and hang on walls. I don't even know where to begin in the study or the pantry.  I haven't had a walk-in pantry in eight years and I have no clue what to do with it!

We have had lots of workers in and out of the house everyday. I naively thought that when we moved in they would be done.  Man, was I wrong!  We are in need of some new furniture to fill our space (our space is overwhelming--in a good way :)) but I know that it will all come in due time.  We are so excited to be HOME!!!

Our first family pic in the house

God's blessings continue.  You can't get a much more beautiful view!

They are LOVING their playroom and concrete floor.  Notice the almost 9 year old on his baby sister's ladybug?

Quote of the Day

I was in My Boy's room today trying to pack up the majority of the clothes in his dresser. I opened his pajama drawer and couldn't believe the mess it was in.  I put up his laundry all the time but it didn't dawn on me until that moment that I really hadn't been putting up too many pairs of pjs for him. 2/3 of them were inside out and I realized he'd been putting them back in his drawer dirty.  I said, "Hey Buddy, why are you putting your pjs back in your drawer after you have worn them?"

He replied, "Well, I never go outside in them so I figured they weren't dirty and that you didn't need to wash them."

Awesome.
